Accommodation

Hosted Accommodation

To ensure the hosted accommodation system is fair to everyone, we ask that you read the following information carefully. As the number of delegates requiring hospitality from members of our congregation has increased greatly over the years, unfortunately we have not been able to guarantee the provision of hosted accommodation for everyone. Your host will only be able to provide accommodation from the night before your first day at EMEA Week until the night of your last day at the event. We regret that we are unable to arrange hosted accommodation for children. Please note that you will be responsible for transport to and from your host’s home during the week and the only meal we ask hosts to provide for you is breakfast.

Hotel / Bed & Breakfast Accommodation

You should have already received a link to information on hotel and bed & breakfast accommodation in the Holy Trinity Brompton area when you when you booked online. Please download a copy of our accommodation list and find out more about transport, or email Dane on dane.butler@alpha.org if you have further questions.

Registration

Registration will be held from 8.30 – 9.30am on Monday 19 May at Holy Trinity Brompton. If you arrive after this time please go to the Welcome Lounge in the Hut to register.

When you register you will receive a delegate pack, with all the notes and information that you will need for the week including a programme and maps. Please make sure that you take your delegate pack with you at all times. However, if at any time during the week you lose your delegate pack, please go to the Welcome Desk at the back of the church. If you receive a meeting schedule in the envelope given to you at registration, please check this as soon as you receive it so that you don’t miss any important meetings during the week.

Name Badge & Timetable

Your name badge will be in your personalised envelope. Please remember to put your name badge on immediately after registration and keep it on at all times, as this will give you access to the sessions. The church grounds are open to the public, therefore it will also be necessary for us to check name badges at meal times. If you lose your name badge, please go to the Welcome Desk where we can provide you with a replacement.

Bursaries

If it has been agreed in writing by Alpha International that you are to receive a bursary, please visit the Welcome Lounge as soon possible to make a bursary collection appointment. Please bring your original flight receipt and ticket, and photocopies, with you to your appointment.

Costs

Unfortunately, Alpha International is unable to meet any additional costs that you may incur during your stay in London, such as additional meals, transportation or accommodation.

Meetings

You may be asked to attend additional meetings during the week. These have been scheduled to try to minimise any disruption to the main programme. If we have scheduled you in for any meetings, you will be advised by email the week before EMEA Week. Please advise us immediately if you are unable to make any of your meetings. You will also receive a full meeting schedule in your personalised envelope.
