The Alpha course is being run in the Forces by chaplaincy teams and servicemen and women in the UK and around the world. Many local churches positioned nearby military bases can also play a vital role with speaking, leading or helping on courses on the base.

On 14 July 2009, over 60 military Chaplains and service personnel attended the first UK 'Marriage Conference for the Armed Forces', held at the Armed Forces Chaplaincy Centre, Amport House.
