11,000 attend Alpha conference in Seoul

More than 11,000 church leaders are attending the biggest-ever Alpha conference in Seoul, South Korea, this week. Speakers include Nicky Gumbel, Graham Tomlin, Jamie Haith and Al Gordon.
The event is being held at Yoido Full Gospel Church, founded by Pastor Paul Yonggi Cho, which has 800,000 members and is one of the largest churches in the world. The conference was opened by Pastor Cho's successor, the Rev Young-hoon Lee.
The format of the two day conference, which have been held all over the world to train church leaders to run Alpha courses, was changed slightly because seminars were not possible due to the vast number of delegates.
