Around 170 church leaders attended the Kenya Alpha Conference in Nairobi in September.

Thirteen different nations were represented and the conference, which was led by Bishop Sandy Millar, was translated into French.

More than 100 Alpha courses are now running in Kenya and the course is spreading fast across Africa. Nearly 2,000 churches run the course in South Africa.

Prisons Training and Youth Alpha Training events were held on the third day of the Kenya conference.

The conference was also attended by a Coptic Orthodox Archbishop.
