Over 300 students and guests attended 'School of Prayer' last weekend at St Paul's Onslow Square.

The day event formed part of St Paul's Theological Centre's 'School of Theology.' It was an insight into prayer with a theological perspective. The event was designed to inform and ignite the prayer life of those attending, by exploring the ancient riches of Christian prayer.

Speakers included Pete Greig, Director of Prayer at Holy Trinity Brompton, who spoke on 'Growing in Prayer.' Graham Tomlin, Principle of St Paul's Theological Centre, who gave a talk on Martin Luther's ideas of prayer and discipleship.

Guest speaker for the day was former Bishop of Coventry Simon Barrington-Ward who spoke on his personal friendship with C.S. Lewis and what he learnt from him as a master.

The day ended with a powerful intercession of worship and prayer, including the recital of The Jesus Prayer.
