Alpha Friends

A team from St Mungo's Church, Balerno has just returned from training delegates in how to run Alpha in Mombassa, Kenya.

Richard McArthur, who is Senior Associate Minister, led the Global Alpha Training (GAT) Team.  He described one of the many highlights, 'One delegate at the first day of the GAT event thought it was so good that she phoned her friend in Nairobi 300 miles away and told her should really come down to it. So she travelled all night to be there for day 2 and day 3!'

They worked closely with Alpha Kenya, and National Director Liz Odera commented, 'Our Kenyan hosting Pastor came to see me on one of the evenings to thank us for having chosen such a spiritually mature team from Scotland.

Already delegates have been phoning asking us to hurry up and get their Alpha resources as they want to practice what they have learnt!'
