Around 2,500 Americans attended an evening with Bear Grylls in Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday night. The TV adventurer, whose "Man vs Wild" show is watched by more than a billion people world wide, was interviewed by Nicky Gumbel.

He spoke about his experiences making the TV show, his faith, his family and his support of the Alpha course, which he attended several years ago with his wife Shara.
At the end of the event, Bear was surrounded by hundreds of young people looking for autographs.
