The Bishop of Durham closed the second day of Alpha International Week at Holy Trinity Brompton. More than 800 delegates from over 100 countries attended the talk, which focused on the urgency of the Gospels.
Bishop Tom Wright is one of the 75 archbishops and bishops from many denominations, including more than 30 Catholic archbishops and bishops that are attending the international conference.

Since the address was both inspirational and prophetic and it appeared that it was being recorded, why not make a downloadable mp3 of it?

Hi David
I'm also downloading the audio files now. If you download the video clips, please let me have a copy of them. I think they will work well in inspirational sessions at training days.
See you soon, enjoy the last days of summer.

Dear Philip,
I have had a lot of trouble downloading the video clips. The ones I really think we need are the addresses from Bishop of London and Bishop of Durham. I have had downloads of 50MB plus and then when trying to play them they won;t open. Looking at Properties of the faulty files there is an empty space where it should show the duration of the talk (say an hour or so). I'll keep trying as in SA we have to pay for bandwidth, whereas here I have a thirty day unlimited "contract".
Whatever you can download succesfully, I'd like a copy please.
Some of the talks must be COMPULSORY viewing for out team!

Hi David
Thanks for the feedback. I too am struggling, even with the audio clips. So I tried listening to the file online and recording it through a sound programme, but after a few minutes, the clip stops playing, so I fear the problem may be with the server. I will try contacting someone in IT to check it out. Just listening to the first fifteen minutes of Tom Wright's message, I agree with you about the compulsory viewing.
Are you based in London at the moment? Perhaps we could arrange for you to pick up all the video and audio files on DVD so we don't have to download everything. I'll try arrange that as well.
See you shortly
