Alpha Internatonal have completed the purchase of a six storey office building in Holy Trinity Brompton’s parish, London, which will be its new headquarters.
Contracts were exchanged for the £7.8 million building on December 31 last year and completion took place on March 31.
The building, which is located opposite the Natural History Museum, will supply office space for around 150 of the Alpha/HTB staff who currently work on site at Holy Trinity Brompton and St Paul, Onslow Square.
On April 1 the HTB maintenance team, led by Michael Anderson, along with some 40 different contractors moved into the building to start work.
A considerable amount of work will be carried out on the building over the next 16 weeks, with floor layouts being re-arranged in order to give a more open-plan feel, an elevator being fitted, and a complete re-decoration taking place.
Alpha pioneer, Nicky Gumbel said, ‘For many years the work of Alpha and the church community of which it is a part here at Holy Trinity Brompton has been in need of space.
‘This new building will enable the work of the charity and the church to expand in ways which are hugely exciting.’
