Over 1,200 delegates from over 80 different countries arrived at Holy Trinity Brompton, London, today for the first day of EMEA Week.
The international delegates are also joined by hundreds from across the UK today for the Alpha Conference, which runs for the first two days of EMEA week.
Delegates from Europe, Middle East & Asia packed the church at Holy Trinity Brompton to hear the opening address from Alpha pioneer, Nicky Gumbel.
The event was formally opened by the Mayor of Kensignton, who gave a speech welcoming the delegates.
Nicky Gumbel then gave a talk on 'The Principles of Alpha' followed by various seminars on 'The Practicalities of Alpha'.
A model Alpha evening will be held this evening led by Bishop Sandy Millar, followed by a time of prayer and ministry.
The delegates will be at Holy Trinity Brompton all week hearing training, seminars and talks on how to run Alpha effectively.
