A Student Alpha course was launched at a nightclub in London’s Soho in October.
The course, hosted by students from Holy Trinity Brompton, was set to be held throughout the autumn term at Sugar Reef nightclub on Great Windmill Street, Piccadilly Circus, London.
More than 200 students crowded into the nightclub for launch night, which included live music, food, drinks and an introduction to the course by Jamie Haith, Director of Student Alpha.
Jamie stood next to a big screen showing photos, film clips and quotes throughout his talk – and plasma screens were placed throughout the nightclub.
‘The big question is: is there any hope for us?,’ asked Jamie.
Student Alpha course launch parties were held at a variety of secular venues all over the UK, including the Tiger Tiger nightclubs in Glasgow and Aberdeen and the Native State pub in Edinburgh.
