Alpha Scotland - Who's Who?

	Paul Davie Alpha Scotland Director Paul has degrees in Accountancy and Theology from the University of Aberdeen and was a depute Director of Finance at the University before joining the ministry team at City Church, Aberdeen in 1996, where he was Senior Pastor for four years. Paul represented Aberdeen churches on the City Council for 8 years, and gained wide respect for playing a key role in developing unity amongst church leaders across Aberdeen. His passions are to see the church equipped for mission & ministry, and to see Scotland reached with the good news about Jesus. Paul is married to Gillian who is a physiotherapist and they have three lively boys.
	Allan Jack Chairman of Alpha Scotland Although Allan’s parental home was Strathaven, Lanarkshire he grew up and went to University in England before working for the then Ministry of Overseas Development in Africa for 5 years. On returning to Scotland he worked in commercial property consultancy for 17 years before establishing a property development and investment business specialising in healthcare. Allan has been involved in running Alpha courses in Aberdeen since 1994 and says that seeing people’s lives transformed by the love of God is better than any business deal!
	Rebecca Stewart Director of Alpha UK Rebecca Stewart is the National Director of Alpha UK. She joined the staff at Alpha International in September 2003 after spending 10 years in the City working as a management consultant and headhunter. Rebecca oversees all Alpha-related activity in the UK, including the regional offices. She is married to Alex, whom she met on an Alpha course at Holy Trinity Brompton!
	Bonnie Yule-Kuehne Alpha UK Development Director Bonnie moved to England over 10 years ago for graduate studies at the London School of Economics before going to work for the US Ambassador to the Court of St James's. She came to work for Alpha International five years ago, working directly with the Executive Director of Alpha International and HTB, and in 2006 took on the role of heading up the development of Alpha in the UK.
	Mike Dawson Mike recently retired after 12 years as Associate Minister at Wester Hailes in Edinburgh. After running Alpha courses there for about seven years, he is now setting up the New Wine Scotland Network.
	Colin Mutch Colin has been Senior Pastor at Southside Christian Fellowship in Ayr since 1998. Prior to that he worked for 12 years as a medical sales executive, combining a fulltime job with church leadership roles and a preaching ministry throughout Scotland. He trained at Glasgow Bible College (now ICC) and at the Scottish Baptist College. He is chairman of Touch The World UK. Colin is married to Sheena and they have 2 grown up children. Alpha has been at the heart of Southside since Colin took over as pastor and has been mightily used by God to bring many people into the Kingdom.
	Gordon Cowan Gordon was in the Christian rock band TRIUMPH in the mid 80's, early 90's for 6 years. He returned to business and has successfully built up and sold several businesses over the last 15 years. He now links business with more 'meaningful and significant' roles and is on the board of Medic Assist International, a Christian Medical Charity based in Oxford, working in Nigeria and the Sudan. He is also Development Consultant for the SMILES Foundation, raising awareness in the UK and US for the building of educational and medical facilities for the gypsy communities in Romania. Gordon is married to Ann and has four children, Mhari, Fiona, Kirstie and Scott. The family attend Seagate Evangelical Church in Troon where he is an elder and is passionate about the church reaching out and making a tangible difference in the community. Alpha is a key and influential part of that ongoing strategy.
