To see the re-evangelisation of the South West of England and the transformation of our society.
The Alpha course is running in over 650 churches across all denominations in the South West. As individual lives are transformed through discovering a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, communities are impacted. Over 2 million people in the UK have been on an Alpha course and our hope is that millions more will have the opportunity to explore the meaning of life. We want to work together with the 3000 churches in the South West to reach our friends, family, neighbours and collegues with the good news about Jesus.
To support and encourage churches in the South West of England to run effective Alpha courses, so that every person in the region has an invitation and an opportunity to attend an Alpha course.
Alpha South West is based in Yeovil, Somerset with one staff member working part-time providing local support and encouragement to churches throughout
the South West. The need to train and support local churches is increasingly important as Alpha continues to grow. Our hope is that a regional Alpha office will accelerate the growth of Alpha and its related ministries.
