Growing numbers of military christians, including General Sir Richard and Lady Dannatt, believe that The Marriage Preparation Course and The Marriage Course have huge relevance for serving couples.
The head of the Army and his wife Pippa, (an experienced marriage counsellor in her own right) have given their support to a new initiative which seeks to promote the use of these courses by Chaplains and lay christians across the military:
"Pippa and I strongly support the use of The Marriage Preparation Course and The Marriage Course in the Army. Both courses are some of the best resources available to help couples to strengthen their relationships and offer a proactive means of positive support to our soldiers and their partners". General Sir Richard and Lady Dannatt
Military personnel who are looking to support the work of the Chaplaincy and to help serving couples strengthen their relationships are warmly encouraged to attend the 'Forces Consultation' at the HTB Marriage Conference on Fri 26 Sep 08.
Whether you are a Chaplain or a lay christian and regardless of whether you are an experienced Marriage Course practitioner or a complete beginner, we are keen to share ideas and experiences with you during the 'Forces Consultation'.
We are eager to share our vision for the potential of these courses in the military context and to explain how a number of exciting developments will make them even more relevant to the needs of serving couples in the very near future.
It's not too late! Places are still available and applications can be made online at:
