Alpha Friends

Alpha has been good for me and it has change me a bit to alot . I diidn,t grow up in a church the only times I ever went was on Hollidays and Sunday School when I was little. Two years ago my friend brought me to an Alpha celebration dinner. A week later the course started that day I decided to go. One of the reason I went was only to get fed. For the first five nights I didn't say anything and then came the weekend I was affraid of te Holy spirit I didn't Know what it was I always thought it was a two words not a hand of God. During the feeling I never got vision or any odd feelings. I thought they were nut's. But a couple days after the weekend thats when it hit me I fineally figured out what Jesus did for us on the cross and the meanig of the cross to the church. The Holy Spirit gave me the insight how to resist evil before the next course night on ow to resist evil. For the next session I was a small group helper though I didn't think I was ready. I Had a good group leader who kept encouraging me he is my mentor. He past away this past summer from cancer. I took the life worth living twice once as a group helper. Now I am an Usher at my church at North Heights Luthuran in Arden Hills Minneasota USA I usher 1 or 2 times a month. We also have Holliday productions that I help make the sets for and usher for we just got done with our Cristmas shpw called the Cristmas Window. We ministered to around 12.000 people for this show and I couldn't believe that alot of them came for 100 miles away in bus coaches. Our Easther Show will be Starting in a few month Its called The Thorn I worked on that this year and its a bigger show than the Window. Well thats my story. If anyone know Nicky tell him thanks!
