On Monday the 2 August I was one of the 25 000 people to head to the Wales Eisteddfod in Ebbw Vale. As a South African I was really taken with the Welsh music (quite a change from our vuvuzelas), the dance, visual arts, original performances, family activities and the Christian Tent. It was a wonderful day filled with worship, testimonies, meeting people and getting a taste of an incredible Welsh tradition (as well as getting to try some Welsh cakes!). As I am the new relationship manager for Wales it was great to get an insight into the Welsh history. It was hugely encouraging to hear the stories of how God has worked through Alpha to touch people and change their lives.
