Alpha Friends

I just wanted to share my Alpha story. When I was 12, I took a confirmation class at church. I was kicked out of the class for having too many questions, and told to return when I had more maturity. I did not set foot into a church again for 20 years. Next time I did, I ended up in an Alpha class, where I had the same questions. This time, my questions were met with a different response, and I found many answers to my questions. With what I was learning in Alpha, from other sources, relationships I was developing, and some things that can just be described as "God things," I was baptized midway through our course. A year later, I became an Alpha small group leader at my church. Currently, my church is not offering an Alpha program, but I will say that my heart will always be with this program, and I look forward to a time when I can be part of the program again!
