Hi everybody, I am doing my 1st admin stint for our forthcoming Alpha course starting on the 24th September, and it is harder work than I imagined: however thru doing this I have found that the Holy Spirit has been with me in abundance. I'm sure Gods happiest when were giving our time and energy in the fight to save lost souls!
Just a word of encouragement; I led my 1st course last year and at times found it painfully hard, most of our guests were not the type who are naturally comfortable with speaking out, especially at first, however after a few weeks this changed and I wasn't going home afterwards thinking I had been to the dentist. One guy in my group who was there only because he had promised his wife he would as a last chance to patch things ( and he hated the Holy Spirit day) now comes every week to our Alpha plus and bible study group.... Because he wants to!!!!! Their marriage is solid again!!
