From Vision to Action in Durham - July 8th
230 leaders and teams from churches in the North of England attended the From Vision to Action North conference in Durham last week. The day was hosted by David Vardy and Sir Peter Vardy at the Bethany Christian Centre in Houghton-le-Spring with delegates attending from the North-east, North-west and Yorkshire.
Tricia Neil and Rebecca Stewart, from HTB spoke, on topics including Turning Dreams into Reality, A Team to Change the World, How to run the Church and How to handle the team and Roger Simpson, from St Michael le Belfrey York, spoke on How to Avoid Burnout. Mark Rance and Helen Lawrence from St Michael le Belfrey ran a seminar on How to work with volunteers and worship was led by Dave Magill and musicians from St Michael le Belfrey Church. Bonnie Yule-Kuehne from Alpha UK hosted a lunctime seminar on Global Alpha Training. fromvisiontoaction.org
