Student Alpha
There are currently 2.3 million students in higher education institutions across the UK. Less than 1% of them are involved in Church or other Christian groups whilst there. That's just 23 thousand...out of 2.3 million people.
Student Alpha is a simple but effective tool for sharing the Gospel with your friends. It's the same as the classic Alpha Course (a ten week course giving guests an opportunity to explore the meaning of life), it's just been Squeezed (into 7 weeks to into university term time), Squashed (into 30 minute talks), and Spiced (with multi-media ingredients) for Students.
So why not run a course yourself?
Imagine an explosion of pocket-sized courses, in student houses, flats and halls. Student Alpha can be as simple as a few people watching the talks in a kitchen or lounge and discussing the talk over a pizza.
