LISTEN to the talks from the UK Vision Day:
The 2010 Alpha UK Vision Day was a great success, with teams coming from across the UK, including Burton-on-Trent, Durham, Conwy, Cornwall, Antrim and the Western Isles.
We heard feedback from courses in a Catholic Context, from Global Alpha Training (GAT) teams who went to Nigeria, Liberia, Armenia & Uganda, from teams running Senior Alpha, Alpha for ESOL, Student Alpha and we heard news from an incredible course running straight out of someone's conservatory. A team from Leeds shared their City-wide Alpha launch event which promoted over 30 courses and St Peter's in Brighton shared their experience in using Social networking (Facebook & Twitter) to get the word out about their course.
Nicky Gumbel spoke on 'Rapid Mobilisation,' and Pete Greig on 'The Power of Presence,' The day also included regional team time and breakout sessions (such as how to market your course, workplace ministry and Worship Central).
It was a fantastic day for all and if you weren't able to make it, please bookmark this page, as we will be uploading the talks here from Nicky & Pete within the next few days.
If you are interested in connecting with your local Alpha Adviser, or would like to hear about more events from Alpha, please register your course to receive the Alpha termly email.
For more information about any of the above, please contact the team at ukalpha@alpha.org.

With love from the team.
